The HP Envy 14 is a 14.5'' premium notebook. It is an addition to the Envy notebook lineup alongside the Envy 13, Envy 15, and Envy 17. Unlike previous Envy notebooks (13, 15), the Envy 14 features a built-in optical drive. As HP's Premium 14.5'' notebook, it is highly customisable with Intel processors ranging from budget oriented Core i3, to the high performance Core i7 quad core processors.
One of its main selling point is the combination of ATI's mid range HD5650 graphics processor along with Intel's integrated graphics which allows for the user to switch between the two depending on usage (ie. dedicated for gaming, integrated for word processing).
